The Caregiver and Home Health Aide Hiring Process
- After receiving your application, our hiring manager will call prospective caregivers and home health aides for a phone interview.
- Then we will invite you into our office for a final interview. Due to COVID-19, all interviews are now being done remotely for the time being.
- Most team members can start work within 3 days of their final interview. They just need to meet home care agency regulations which include passing a criminal background check and have a successful negative tuberculosis test.

Some caregivers that come with a family member or client may be eligible for a $350 sign on bonus. Inquire within for more details. No restrictions, no gimmicks, and no strings attached. It’s paid within just two weeks of your first day of hire!
Paid Time Off
5 vacation days that accrue after one year of service.

Chosen Family Home Care helps seniors enjoy their final years in their homes. As a caregiver with Chosen Family, you’ll usually work with 2-3 seniors, one at a time. We also proudly hire paid family caregivers under the Pennsylvania Medicaid waiver program. You’ll participate in fun activities like art, games, reading and music, plus tasks like housekeeping, meal preparation, running errands, and other personal care related activities. Most importantly, you’ll make a positive impact in the life of a community member in need.
