The Caregiver and Home Health Aide Hiring Process
- After receiving your application, our hiring manager will call prospective caregivers and home health aides for a phone interview.
- Then we will invite you into our office for a final interview.
- Most team members can start work within 3 days of their final interview. They just need to meet home care agency regulations which include passing a criminal background check and have a successful negative tuberculosis test.

You will earn an average of $15 per hour at Chosen Family Home Care. Whether part-time or full-time, we are dedicated to be a home health company that pays its home health aides and caregivers high.
Overtime approved for caregivers
There are no restrictions on overtime. That means that you can always be there for a client or loved one in need of care, when they need it.
Comprehensive health insurance coverage
Employees are eligible to enroll into a healthcare plan after just 90 days! This includes medical, dental, and vision benefit as well as other add ons. Plus, if you average just 32 hours a week or more, the company will subsidize and pay for a large part of your insurance! We want our caregivers and home health aides to be able access good quality coverage at an affordable price.
All of our caregivers and home health aides receive holiday pay! That means that our staff get 1.5 times their regular pay rate on the following major holidays and without restrictions:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- 4th of July
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
No waiting around to get paid. Get cash in hand when you need it with caregivers and home health aides paid weekly. Our home health aides get paid just 5 days after the weekly pay period ends!
Full or part time, we do our best to accommodate your schedule.
A $500 Sign On Bonus
Some caregivers that come with a family member or client may be eligible for a $500 sign on bonus. Inquire within for more details. No restrictions, no gimmicks, and no strings attached. It’s paid after 30 days of your first day of hire! Please call for details and more information.
Paid Time Off

Free or discounted certified nurse aide (CNA) training!
All of our caregivers can enhance their careers by taking our partner program’s CNA class! These are completed through our partner program CareBridge Academy, and caregivers and home health aides can take classes and get certified for free.* Certified Nurse Aides in Philadelphia can earn up to $25 per hour!

Chosen Family Home Care helps seniors enjoy their final years in their homes. As a caregiver with Chosen Family, you’ll usually work with 2-3 seniors, one at a time. We also proudly hire paid family caregivers under the Pennsylvania Medicaid waiver program. You’ll participate in fun activities like art, games, reading and music, plus tasks like housekeeping, meal preparation, running errands, and other personal care related activities.
