Chosen Family Home Care’s Non-Discrimination Policy for Home Care Clients And Staff

 

Chosen Family Home Care is committed to providing quality, compassionate care to those in need in a manner that does not unlawfully discriminate against people on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex (including pregnancy) age, sexual orientation (including gender identity and expression), marital status, disability, veteran status, or any other basis prohibited by federal, state, or local law.

Chosen Family Home Care prohibits retaliation against any person because he or she opposed or complained about discrimination in good faith, assisted in good faith in the investigation of a discrimination complaint, or participated in a discrimination charge or other proceeding under federal, state, or local anti-discrimination law. Chosen Family complies with applicable state and local laws governing non-discrimination in healthcare . This policy applies to all terms and conditions of home care services including, but not limited to, in-home care , intake assessments and/or case manager visits.

Chosen Family Home Care applies the same non-discrimination standards to all of its employees. In addition, reasonable accommodation is to be provided for handicapped employees.
